- Transposition of the EU Preventive Restructuring Directive 2019/1023
This project focuses on the transposition of the EU Preventive Restructuring Directive 2019/1023 across EU Member States. Through empirical study, it assesses (1) the influence of the PRD 2019 on national legislation post-transposition; (2) the conformity of such legislation with the PRD 2019; (3) its practical use after its transposition; and (4) the current challenges and need for reforms. The study aims to provide insights into the effectiveness and quality of insolvency systems post-directive transposition, informing policy improvements and harmonization efforts within the European Union.
