The 4th CERIL International Conference on After the Big Bang! Europe’s expanding restructuring and insolvency law regime takes place in the old and historic city of Leuven. The city deserves a visit. We kindly invite you for an informal social event after the Conference on Friday evening 27 March 2025, starting at 16:30.

Program

The program for the social event is as follows:

The conference will conclude around 15:15. After a short break, we will meet for the social program at 16:20.

1. Guided visit of M Leuven Museum
M is a museum and visual arts platform that makes meaningful connections across time, with society and between art disciplines. M realises its international ambitions from its base in Leuven, European capital of innovation. With its mix of old and contemporary art in the historic centre of Leuven, M stands out. Top architect Stéphane Beel designed a sleek museum complex around the old Vander Kelen-Mertens city museum. The museum is also the ideal meeting place for young and old, complete with a central courtyard garden and a roof terrace that offers a breath-taking view of the Leuven skyline.

2. Dinner at Mykene
The visit of the musuem is folloed by a dinner at restaurant Mykene. It is a modern space, at the heart of the city centre and close to the law faculty. The restaurant Mykene is situated in the pedestrian muntstraat in the center of the city. the old patrician house has been restored, resulting in a nice and spacious restaurant with a pleasant terrace. mykene offers purely belgian cuisine and has an exceptional and unique range of belgian beers.

2. Dinner: dinner will be paid individually (no show fee may apply).
